Virtual Kingston has taken the four 360 degree panoramas shown below on October 4th 2006 and will add another four panoramas taken in the same locations on completion of the Grand Theatre's restoration.
The Let's Make Her Grand Again Campaign has been established to help raise $3.35 million of the more than $17.1 million required to restore the historic Grand Theatre in Kingston. The Campaign is headed by honourary Co-Chairs Britton Smith and Michael Davies and Co-Chairs Walter Fenlon and Fred Laflamme. The Campaign has about 40 volunteers working on its various committees.
The Grand Theatre is Kingston's civic arts centre and the prime performing arts theatre in the region. It provides an important venue for professional and amateur performances and features ballet, modern dance, drama, comedy, classical and contemporary music concerts.
